Chiang Mai -My Stay-

This picture is My stayed hotel. Stayed hotel was clean and big room. Hotel's location is good. Because this hotel was located next to shopping center, Kad Suan Keo.






My transportation device is a tuk-tuk(ตุ๊กตุ๊ก in Thai). A tuk-tuk is
very popular transportation device. This picture took on the tuk-tuk.





The Inner city of Chiang Mai is compact. I took a walk at the inner city. But It's was very hot...







There are lots of temple in the city. This temple is fifteen-minute walk from my hotel.










This picture is one day's dinner, it's a Thai-style grilled beef. The rear of a restaurant performed live music.







Thailand is very famous for a food stall. This is sticky rice and skewered grilled chicken. But you must take care food poisoning.







Night bazaar is famous in Chiang Mai, too. It was one of pleasures for me. I went to there every night. Just looking at it makes me happy. There were a lot of things, clothes, shoes, baggage, Asian grocery and suchlike.

Chiang Mai -Bhubing Palace-

The Bhubing Palace is located on Doi Buak Ha, Muang District, Chiang Mai Province. It is the royal winter residence in Chiang Mai where the Royal family stays during seasonal visits to the people in the northern part of Thailand.

The palace is also the royal guesthouse for prominent state visitors from abroad. In the past Their Majesties welcomed or granted royal audience to State visitors only in the capital of Bangkok. Bhubing Palace was built in 1961. The construction started initially with only the royal resident building and the guesthouse. The other buildings were additionally built on later dates.

Chiang Mai -Old Chaing Mai Cultural Center-

Old Chiang Mai Cultural Center is famous for dance and Khantoke dinner.
The restaurant take off shoes at the entrance. The first part is Khantoke dinner look court dance.
The second part move the place, and look the mountain tribe dance.

Chiang Mai -Wat Phra Thad Doi Suthep-

Located on Mount Doi Suthep, about 15 km from city and at a height of 1,080m above sea level, this wat(temple) is an important landmark of Chiang Mai.
Its special feature is the 348-step Naga stairway leading to the temple. The temple's golden pagoda contains holy Buddha relics.







There is a golden pagoda in the temple grounds. It's 22m.











He is a Buddhist monk. He drove away evil spirits for me.

There is terrace from back of temple, it overlook Chiang Mai city. It's good view!!








This picture is took from head of the naga stairway. After walking up the stairway, many people was breathless and sitting the stirway.

Chiang Mai -Bor Sang-

Bor Sang is famous for the handmade umbrella. It's about 10km from Chiang Mai city.

I went to there by taxi. The picture bellow is took on a taxi on the way to Bor Sang.

Taxi's driver was guided. This is shop's picture. And There is umbrella making center the back of the shop. There is a lot of umbrella.
The picture bellow is umbrella worker. He is drawing at umbrella. Drawing speed is very fast. But this is very detail work.

There is service which umbrella worker draw at clothes of sightseer. I didn't it... But many sightseer did it.

Narita Airport

I'm going to go to Bangkok from now. I will stay Bangkok one day. Next Monday I will go to Chiang Mai by bus.
