The lantern made of stone was called "Monster lantern" because it's huge. It's 6.06 meters height!!! Besides it's very old, it was made in 1631.

There are usual lanterns in the park, too. After looking at usual lanterns, I know well how big Monster lantern is.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2

I went to watch the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part2 at a theater on July 14. I was able to watch the watch the film 1 day earlier than theater opening date because my friend got complementary tickets to the film preview. That's why I was able to watch the film for free. After I was asked out for a movie, I hurriedly watched the Deathly Hallows Part1 on DVD. I've never watched Harry Potter series before. Due to knowing previous story, I enjoyed my time watching Part 2.

By the way, the film was 3D movie and I watched it at the IMAX theater. It has an amazing screen image.

BOEING 787

source: ANA

I have read a news about B787 dreamliner that it has begun flying test in Japan since last Sunday. B787 is attracted to use a lot of Japanese supplier. And it is made of carbon fiber and 20% more fuel efficient.

According to the SJAC (the Society of Japanese Aerospace Companies), the volume of airplane production in Japan has been decreasing for two years since 2009. One of the main causes is the delay of B787 commercial production date.

B787 has a considerable impact to Japanese supplier companies.

Ameyoko (アメ横)

I went to Ueno for shopping and seeing public art. There is a famous shopping place called Ameyoko near the Ueno Station. The area is crowded with stores offering clothes, sundry goods, flesh fish, and dried food. The picture is one of flesh fish store. Next to the fish store, there is a small restaurant to serve fresh fish and I took some fresh fish there. If you go to Uneno, I recommend you to go to Ameyoko.

I had some frequent flier points. I changed point to a electric money about a year ago. And the limit of electric money is coming. That's why I went to Haneda airport to use it. I also had a thing to do near the Haneda.

Haneda international airport was opened last year. I heard there are some good shops and restaurants in the terminal. Moreover they can use the electric money.

I used the e-money to eat a yakiniku (broiled meat).
