De Liefde

De Liefde
Marunouchi, Tokyo

De Liefde is a name of a ship. The ship owned by Netherlands drifted to Japan in 1960. One of the navigator named Jan Joosten lived near the area. And his name was used as a name of a place now known as Yaesu(八重洲). It seems that Jan Joosten changed to Yaesu.

Marunouchi is an area near the Tokyo station. There is a cafe named Marunouchi CAFE which has PCs, newspaper, magazine, and library and you can use these facilities for free. The space also provides information about the place, Marunouchi. You can get a guide book and an area map for free. Informations about the location of public arts in this area are found in the map. 12 Angry Men

source: Wikipedia

I watched the film on DVD, the title is "12 Angry Men".  It's a very old movie which was released in 1957. The story was about 12 jurors are developing an argument on a murder case.

One of my friends recommended this movie for learning argument. He said the movie presents very good arguments. Some of the things that I have learned from the movie are that to argue from a fact and try to seek logical reasons from it and try to play devil's advocate.

I think to take a courage to play devil's advocate among unfamiliar people.

Papanasi

Do you know what a Papanasi is?

A Papanasi is a Romanian doughnut. I have never eaten it before until I went to a Romanian restaurant. It was very delicious. I also tried other Romanian dishes. They are also delicious.

A Romanian acquaintance recommended Dalie to me. Darie is a Romanian restaurant near the Ginza station. If you have a time, I highly recommend the place for fine dining experience. However, it has some plans of moving to a new location in this month. If I will get any information regarding the new location, I will immediately update you through this
